One of the hottest mixtape rappers in the West Coast is Casey Veggies. There are several artists from Los Angeles who have gained international fame off their mixtapes. Casey Veggies joined these names, with Dom Kennedy and Nipsey Hussle being among the most-prominent mixtape rappers in Los Angeles.
Los Angeles’ hip hop scene has done well in January of 2013. New mixtapes came from three of the biggest names out West. Joe Moses opened the year of 2013 off with his new mixtape, From Nothing to Something II. YG would released his Just Re’d Up 2 mixtape, which also did well, but the attention went to Casey Veggies, who released his retail mixtape, Life Changes.
“Whip It” is a notable song off Casey Veggies’ Life Changes project. The song has done very well, becoming a fan favorite. With “Whip It” doing well, Life + Times decided to reach out to Casey Veggies for their “DECODED” series. Casey Veggies broke down the song to the the popular website.
