Last month, Harlem rapper Dave East and a woman were cited for misdemeanor battery in Las Vegas after he supposedly threw punches at the woman who got mad at him for not giving her enough attention during a three-way. East had a different account of the story though as he said the woman and her friend tried to go in his bathroom where his jewelry was and told them to leave. This was at the Delano hotel as other people were in the room as well.
East added that he had bottles thrown at him where he had cuts on his arms and legs and suffered a concussion. This was after a CAT scan was conducted. According to TMZ now, he won’t face any charges for the incident. East’s attorney, Stacey Richman, said she submitted medical records showing that he was the victim of injuries.
Richman added that East didn’t instigate the situation and that “he attempted to responsibly quell the situation.” If you’re in Vegas, you definitely need to watch who you surround yourself with.
