Master P said last week that J. Cole is serious about making an NBA roster spot next season. The the Detroit Pistons have already made an offer last night for him to attend a tryout.
Dave East posted his college basketball highlights from Towson University on his Instagram feed a new nights ago and he was nice. He spoke to Complex today about Cole going to the league snd he said if he makes it, he himself will start training immediately in order to get a tryout as well.
East also emphasized that he’s not knocking Cole as he thinks he’s still probably good at basketball but he’d just like an opportunity as well. He will be in the gym the same that day Cole is announced on a team. It’ll definitely be interesting to see if the Pistons tryout actually happens and if East gets that opportunity as well.
In the meantime, Cole is getting ready to release his ‘The Fall Off’ album and East is releasing ‘Karma 3’ project on August 14. Check out East speaking on him and Cole making the NBA below.
