Dave East continues to be one of the most underrated artists in the game as he finally delivered his third studio album “Survival” in November of last year. It contained the single “Alone” featuring Jacquees and also other hot records such as “Godfather 4” feat. Nas and “Need a Sign” feat. Teyana Taylor. There were other gems in “Wanna Be a G” feat. Max B and the Nipsey Hussle Tribute “The Marathon Continues” as well. This was a project that should’ve definitely got more respect and attention as East showcased the bars that hip-hop needs to return to.
East has also made a name for himself over the last three years with his “Karma” mixtape series with DJ Holiday. Today on Instagram, he posted a video of him giving fans a taste of what they can expect on this project as he was vibing to a song in the studio. The caption read “K3.”
Hopefully, Karma 3 delivers just as hard as Survival did. As of now, no release date has been set but expect it to drop at the start of the spring. East has definitely met expectations since signing to Nas’ Mass Appeal record label. Check out East showing what’s to come on K3 below.
