In this new NBA era, everybody does everything. This is close to what it was that Kevin McHale was talking about. Positionless basketball, as everybody, including big men, are shooting threes, and doing the Skills Challenge.
Paul George, traditionally, would be a big man, but he plays a wing. He was the face of the Indiana Pacers, making the team relevant, for the first time, since the mid-2000s. After making it clear he would leave the team, Indiana traded him to the OKC Thunder.
Definitely a do-it-all player, it made sense for Paul George to compete in the Three Point Contest. But, in the end, it didn’t make sense, as PG had one of the all-time worst performances. It was so bad that Twitter has “Damn PG” trending, and the memes are all over social media.
