DaBaby Gets Blasted on Twitter, After Retweeting a Post About He and Tory Lanez Not Having To Do Jail Time, After Each Shot Someone

This week, Tory Lanez put out his new “SKAT” single, featuring DaBaby. The two had teased this collab a few months back, but it dropped this week, along with the music video.

On the day that the video came out, Megan Thee Stallion unfollowed DaBaby. This came after she brushed off this collab a few months ago. Last August, Megan came out and said that Tory was the one who shot her in Los Angeles after a party, in July. Just a few months ago though, Megan didn’t have an issue with this Baby and Tory collab.

Now, it looks like DaBaby and Megan’s friendship is finished. Baby retweeted a post this afternoon that said “I guess @DaBabyDaBaby & @ToryLanez cool now bc both shot somebody and don’t have to do no jail time.”

Now, Baby is getting tons of backlash online for this. Due to that, he undid the retweet, and is now explaining himself. The Charlotte rapper feels that he’s not “inheriting the next MF’s problems.”

“Baby got enough problems of his own my n*gga😂, ion got nooooo reason to inherit the next MF problems.🙅🏾‍♂️Y’all chasing a story y’all ain’t gone get. I’m out n*ggas bidness while still successfully doing business.”

Baby and Megan have created multiple hits together since 2019. These include Megan’s “Cash S*it” single, Baby’s “Nasty” song with her and Ashanti, from his 2020 “Blame It On Baby” album, and Megan’s “Cry Baby” single from her 2020 debut album, “Good News.”

Yesterday, Baby also released his new “Ball If I Want To” single. He also has a record with Bobby Shmurda on the way, as the two recently posted photos together in the studio.

Check out DaBaby addressing his retweet below.
