DaBaby has had plenty of success since he turned into a star in early 2019 as at this point, he’s released three albums, two of which are at platinum status and with two of them being No. 1 albums. The Charlotte rapper has also run into a myriad of legal issues with one being at a AC Hotel hotel by Marriott in Beverly Hills in December 2019.
Baby shoved an employee named Cristofher Pocasangre against a wall after he took a photo of him. Baby was concerned for the safety of himself and his daughter as he didn’t want his location revealed. Pocasangre did reveal that he deleted the photo that he snapped of Baby though. This week, he did file a lawsuit against Baby for what went down.
According to TMZ, Pocasangre says there is “structural damage” to his back and spine as well as additional nerve damage as a result of that incident. Anthony Werbin of Downtown L.A. Law Group added that Pocasangre suffers from “unbearable pain” on a daily basis since last year. Back surgery is also a possibility in the next few weeks.
Pocasangre also explained that he’s been embarrassed in the aftermath of the clip of getting him assaulted going viral. His friends have also been getting on him about not standing up for himself against Baby. He explained that the situation simply had him scared and sadly, Baby was his favorite rapper at the time.
