Yesterday, Da Brat made headlines for the first time in years when she announced she was released from prison. Shortly after her stint on VH1’s “Celebrity Fit Club,” Da Brat was arrested and sent to prison. During this time, Da Brat’s career was put on hold, indefinitely.
However, now with Da Brat out of prison, several producers have been trying to get up with her. Brat’s first move was finding Jermaine Dupri. She is working on new music and is still in touch with So So Def. Da Brat said she has two years of aggression she needs to let out.
While she is out of prison, Da Brat is not done serving her time, as she still has six more months. She will finish the remainder of her sentence on house arrest. Da Brat joked about putting some crystals on her ankle bracelet. Glad to be free, Da Brat said she is in a good position and will soon be done with all of this.
