Curren$y talks indie success, freestyles, and talks songwriting with “Sway In The Morning” [VIDEO]

Curren$y SwayNew Orleans has a unique hip hop history and has proven to be a city where hustlers are from. Of course, Master P put the city on the map with the No Limit movement and Birdman and Slim did their thing with Cash Money. Curren$y ended up being signed to both labels.

Curren$y was signed to No Limit Records as a member of the 504 Boyz and Master P recently discussed this. He said Curren$y was impatient, which ultimately held him back. But, when discussing his current run, he said he had faith in Curren$y finally breaking through.

Recently, Sway hosted Curren$y on “Sway In The Morning” on Shade 45 to discuss his new work. During the interview, Curren$y discussed the success he’s had as an independent artist, before dropping a dope freestyle. Later, he would discuss his history as a songwriter.
