As the cousin of Q-Tip, Consequence has been around one of music’s most-iconic movements. His run with the crew has taken him all over the world, and landed him various TV cameos. In 2013, Consequence stepped into the spotlight, all on his own.
Consequence joined the “Love & Hip Hop” cast and he ended up clashing with Joe Budden. During a Hot 97 cast interview, the two had a memorable run-in. Both rappers would soon leave the show and, since then, Consequence has kept a low profile.
With A Tribe Called Quest preparing their final music video, Consequence returned to Hot 97. Sitting down with Ebro, Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez, Cons talked about Tribe’s legacy. While they were talking, he also bigged up his son as the next big thing.
