Following the departure of Consequence from VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop,” he returned to his music roots. The New York rapper has gotten in the studio and done nothing but record new music and he even picked up an artist. Recently, Consequence has made moves on the scene with popular model, Blu Gem, who is his artist.
A couple of months ago, Consequence featured Blu Gem on his “Bottle Girls” remix, which also features Mack Wilds. Blu Gem made her mark as a model, but always wanted to transition to being an artist, which she told Hip Hop Vibe during her Hottie of the Week feature, last year. Now, she is living out her goals and has a project coming.
Recently, Consequence and Blu Gem stopped by ThisIs50.com to talk to Jack Thriller about their current arrangement. They discussed the new music they have in the works, which led to Blu Gem speaking on her new project. The upcoming Blu Gem project is called Drop A Gem and it’s coming soon.
