Currently, Common is back in the spotlight with his “Glory (Selma)” record, featuring John Legend. The song is taken from the Selma movie soundtrack. Critically-acclaimed from the moment it dropped, Common went on to win an Oscar for his effort.
Common always had a bigger focus than just music, back when he was in those Chicago streets as Common Sense. Back then, he dreamed of inspiring people on a bigger scale. Now, he is doing so and he has the support of almost everyone.
The above photo has circulated the internet of Common the night after he won his Academy Award. But, another Instagram photo also caused a lot of discussion, from Serena Williams. His ex posted and later deleted Instagram photos with Common and the Oscar, hinting at getting back with him.
