Common talks finding love, forgiveness, relationship advice from Michelle Obama, and his new book on “The Breakfast Club” [VIDEO]

Since 2012, Chicago has consistently dominated hip hop. But, there was a time when Chicago had virtually no hip hop scene and Common helped solidify that scene. A Midwestern rapper, Common was drawn into the East/West beef, when he and Ice Cube traded disses.

Common and Ice Cube have since evolved into being good friends, who have done movies together. That is what grown people do, moving past petty disagreements. Since then, Common shared a very intimate story about himself, revealing he was molested as a child.

Recently, Common visited “The Breakfast Club,” where he would speak with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. The conversation was about his new love, forgiveness, and Michelle Obama giving him relationship advice. While there, Common also promoted his new book.
