Last weekend, at the Rolling Loud festival in Miami, Coi Leray was one of the biggest trending topics. She took the stage and put on a solid show, but a lot of people were oddly not very into it. The crowd as a whole didn’t show a lot of emotion, aside from the attendees who were front and center, during Coi’s set.
On Saturday, TMZ caught up with the “No More Parties” artist, to get her thoughts on the RL situation. Coi explained how she embraces any kind of reaction, positive or negative, because at the end of the day, the listeners are talking.
Coi also feels that she is standing out, and isn’t doing repetitive things that other artists do. Overall, she feels that she is bringing new things to the table with how she is as an artist, and fans at shows are still getting used to that.
Overall, Coi has still had a very impressive breakout year. The “No More Parties” remix feat. Lil Durk went 2x platinum, and she also saw success with other singles such as “Big Purrd” feat. Pooh Shiesty and “At The Top” feat. Kodak Black and Mustard. Coi was also named a 2021 XXL Freshman, where she trended for the mixed reactions to her Freshman freestyle.
