Clyde Carson talks Nate Dogg, Nas, and “Slow Down” with HipHopDX [VIDEO]

One Bay Area artist holding things down while Los Angeles re-emerged as hip hop’s top city in California was Clyde Carson. Working with all the biggest names in the game, including those in California, Clyde Carson has a major hit on his hands. The release of his “Slow Down” single was a long time coming.

For the “Slow Down” remix, Clyde Carson got all of the hottest rappers in the game together for one track. Gucci Mane, Game, E-40, and Dom Kennedy appeared on one version of the remix. On another remix, Ya Boy and Problem appeared on the track, with each version being a banger.

HipHopDX had an opportunity to sit down with Clyde Carson. Contributing more to the world than just “Slow Down,” Clyde Carson reflected on hos past. Clyde Carson talked about his past when he sampled Nate Dogg and Nas. But, of course he would have to mention his breakout hit single, “Slow Down,” which has done well.
