Last year, Cliff Po rode the wave of “Trillz” into his release, The Pharaoh EP. Releasing individual songs throughout the bulk of 2012, Cliff Po waited until the close of the year to release his projects. Cliff Po closed 2012, fittingly, with Royal Phuckin Xmas, one of several Christmastime mixtape releases.
A native of New York City, Cliff Po is like every other rising rapper, he dreams of being featured on Hot 97. This week, half of his dream came true when Hot 97 added him to their “Who’s Next?” list. Upon getting on the list, Cliff Po finds himself in the midst of a tight competition.
The Harlem rapper is competing against a number of other rappers for a chance to open up for Kendrick Lamar at SXSW 2013. In addition to performing in Texas with Kendrick Lamar, Cliff Po also has the chance to record with Timbaland. Cliff Po has enjoyed a strong buzz for some time and now hopes to advance his career.
