When rappers really start taking off with fame, they need to reflect back and see if they said anything crazy or ignorant in the past. Oftentimes, they end up getting canceled for things they tweeted years ago and now, this appears to be happening with JT of the City Girls.
People have been pulling up JT’s tweets which date all the way back to 2012. One from that year was when she said T.I.’s wife, Tiny, isn’t pretty but she applauded the fact that T.I. still loves her. In 2015, she agreed with Future that Ciara was a “punk ass h*e.”
One tweet in particular that has drawn a lot of criticism is from December 2018, five months before City Girls started to become stars JT said “I love pretty dark skin girls. Not tooo crispy na! But the milky ways be the s*it.” JT has since defended herself and believes that she is not colorist at all, despite her being dark-skinned as well.
JT has since created a new Twitter feed to start fresh. Her new account is @fuckyallbitch11. Based on the user name, it’s clear that she is angry that she was called out for her old tweets. Time will only tell though if she actually sticks to this account though and doesn’t revert back to the old one that had a huge following.

Every group is capable of contributing to colorism. It's why most of the women you see on dark skin Stan accounts are no darker than JT or Gabrielle Union. Rarely do you see someone Sudanese dark receiving praise because many of the colorist complainers are colorist themselves. pic.twitter.com/SbVkZP4GHO
