Early in her career, Ciara was one of the highest-selling artists in the game. During this time, she even earned comparisons to Janet Jackson, before finding her own way. Ciara was one of the last artists to sign to the historic LaFace Records before it was merged into Epic Records.
Since being a part of Epic Records, Ciara has suffered low record sales, despite hit records. Her most-recent hit, “I Bet,” has dominated radio for close to a year. The album, Jackie, has yet to even cross 50,000 album sales, worldwide.

According to @deontaemoore on Twitter, this wish has been granted, as Ciara has decided to leave Epic Records, effective immediately.
