Shortly after midnight on the east coast, a report by TMZ surfaced, where it stated that Chris Brown is being investigated for battery. Brown is allegedly a suspect, after reportedly hitting a woman on her head over the weekend. That incident was also said to have knocked part of her weave off her head.
This woman was not injured, and only suffered the damaged weave situation. The case is also said to be under investigation by the City Attorney, in the San Fernando Valley. The worst situation for Brown here would be a misdemeanor charge.
Now, the R&B legend is taking to social media to deny any involvement in this accusation. Brown replied in the comments section of Rap Alert‘s Instagram feed, where he left several emojis, to state his innocence. These were laughing and cap emojis.
As of now, Brown hasn’t been arrested and no injuries have been reported. It’ll be interesting to see if any charges do end up being on the table this week, though.
