Chopper rose to fame in 2003, when he joined “Making The Band 2.” Representing New Orleans, Chopper had a relationship with the rappers from Cash Money and No Limit. Once Da Band formed, Chopper was a popular member. As well as that, Chopper had the most solo success of all the members.

Chopper built a presence for himself on the mixtape scene, after Da Band ended. Chopper was releasing projects well until 2012. According to Chopper’s legal documents, he found a profession more lucrative than music. In addition to music, Chopper is accused of being involved in sex trafficking. Due to Chopper being accused of sex trafficking, he was investigated.

Chopper (Kevin Barnes) was arrested in Annapolis, Maryland. After Chopper was arrested he was extradited back to Las Vegas. Chopper will stand trial in Las Vegas. Reportedly, Chopper was busted by an undercover detective posing as a sex worker. Chopper allegedly sent a DM to the undercover detective. The detective accused Chopper of proposing making money through prostitution. Chopper also had posts referring to himself as a “pimp.” Currently, Chopper is being held in police custody in Las Vegas.
