In a perfect world, Chinx is all over the news and all over the media doing interviews in promotion of his debut album. Last week saw the release of Welcome To JFK, Chinx’s debut album. Unfortunately, this album comes close to three months after Chinx was cruelly murdered.
Chinx was one of the most-promising up-and-coming rappers in the game and he had a lot of momentum. Days before his untimely death, Chinx revealed his album was almost done. The actual release is now bittersweet, as Chinx isn’t here to be a part of it.
With the album out, Chinx’s wife and his manager, Biggs, sat down with the Hot 97 morning show crew. Ebro, Peter Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez talked to them about Chinx’ memory and his new album. It’s obvious the two are missing him daily, just as the hip hop world.
