In 2001, Usher proved he was no one hit wonder, doing so with the release of “U Remind Me,” his first of many Billboard Hot 100 number one records. That music video featured a cameo from Chilli, who played his leading lady. It turns out, she was also playing that role in real life.
Usher definitely established himself as an R&B king, leaving all the others in the dust. There was also this, too, for that era… pop music had the Brittney Spears/Justin Timberlake couple, but hip hop/R&B had Usher and Chilli. Unfortunately, by 2004, neither couple existed.
Many fans have often said Usher and Chilli were each others’ match, hence why their other romances have failed. Clearly, Chilli still loves her ex, Usher, given her using the above photo for his birthday. Then, yesterday, she made the below post, before deleting the tag, when fans jumped on it.
