Two years ago, Chief Keef was big in turning the Chicago drill scene into something nationally known. Initially the face of the movement, soon the guys around Chief Keef also received mainstream attention. After two years have passed, Lil Durk is clearly the other biggest star out of the movement.
Despite representing the same ties on the streets and having the same friends, there was friction with Lil Durk and Chief Keef. Last year, the friction came to a head and led to a massive blowout on Twitter between the two. Their issues have lasted a year since then.
Cooler heads have since prevailed and Lil Durk revealed the beef was over, which pleased French Montana. While it was confirmed that the beef was over, Chief Keef had yet to comment. It’s official now, with Chief Keef trying to get up with Lil Durk on Twitter and calling him “bro.”
