When he played in the NBA, Charles Barkley was one of the most-outspoken players in the league. This brazen approach to basketball was a stark contrast to the guys like Michael Jordan and Clyde Drexler, who dominated that era. For some, it was a major turnoff.
Charles Barkley was never one to care about the opinions of people, so being disliked didn’t bother him. Being so authentic led to Barkley ultimately being loved by fans. This led to him transitioning into being a successful media personality for NBA on TNT.
Last night, Charles Barkley was roasting the Golden State Warriors, predicting Kawhi Leonard would lead the Clippers to victory. While decimating the Warriors’ playoff chances, Charles Barkley had words for the vice president, Mike Pence. After the Adam Silver interview, where Pence’s comments were discussed, Charles said the Vice President needs to “shut the hell up.”
