Last night, Xscape and SWV faced off, for Verzuz. All of the classics were relived and the fans enjoyed every minute of it. As always, it’s the side conversations that end up getting just as much attention, as the show.
Fans were split on who actually won the Verzuz battle. The one who ended up stealing the show was Coko, from SWV, as she even sang some Xscape hits. While many fans gave Xscape the win, most agreed they ran out of songs.
Charlamagne Tha God would have the comment, though, which won the whole battle. When SWV was performing their classic, “Weak,” Charlamagne had something to say. He said “weak in the knees hits different… when you’re 42 and you have to climb two flights of stairs.”
