Where Chinga Chang Records is concerned, there is a lot of controversy surrounding the rising record label. Only a few weeks ago, Chinga Chang Records was virtually unknown by the masses and now they have a large roster. It all began for the label in the spotlight when it was announced that Cassidy signed to the label.
Controversy is something Cassidy should be very familiar with. Since the summer of 2012, Cassidy has battled with fellow Philadelphia rapper, Meek Mill. They have traded all kinds of shots in the media, with Cassidy’s buzz building significantly off the battling back and forth.
In response to all the backlash, Chinga Chang Records has continued adding heavy-hitters to their roster. On Friday, Lil’ Scrappy announced he would be joining the label and Cassidy is now putting the finishing touches on his deal. According to his Twitter yesterday, Cassidy completed his million dollar deal with the label.
