Cardi B’s “WAP” Single With Megan Thee Stallion Beats Out Drake’s “Laugh Now Cry Later” With Lil Durk To Remain at No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100 Chart For Second Straight Week

Cardi B’s new “WAP” single featuring Megan Thee StallIon was released two weeks ago and became the No. 1 song in the country on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It would soon get some competition from Drake’s new “Laugh Now Cry Later” single feat. Lil Durk a week later.

WAP continues to make a lot of noise as it will retain its top spot on the Billboard Hot 100, according to Chart Data. It also becomes the first No. 1 debut of 2020 to stay at this spot on the Hot 100 in its second week. For Megan, WAP also marks her longest-running No. 1 hit on the Hot 100, which passes her “Savage” single feat. Beyoncé.

Many felt that Laugh Now Cry Later could’ve knocked off WAP due to both Drake and Durk flowing well together. The music video was also star-studded as the two filmed it at the Nike Headquarters in Beaverton, OR. This included cameos from Odell Beckham Jr, Marshawn Lynch, and Kevin Durant.
