In June at the BET Awards in Los Angeles, Cardi B shocked the world, after revealing that she and Offset would be expecting their second child. Cardi went on to perform that night, while rocking her pregnant belly. Now, more information is surfacing regarding when she’s expected to give birth.
According to a report by AllHipHop, the week of September 13 is when Cardi is said to have this child. Due to this, she is asking a judge to push her trial date back to November 8, which involves a defamation and slander lawsuit against blogger, Tasha K. This goes back to April 2019, where K reportedly called Cardi a “drug-using prostitute with herpes.” A $75,000 lawsuit was soon filed.
“[Cardi B”] recently announced that she is pregnant with her second child. [Cardi B] will be unable to attend trial on the currently scheduled dates because she is scheduled to give birth around that time,” said Cardi B’s lawyer Lisa F. Moore.
Tasha ended up filing a $3 million countersuit against Cardi, as she claimed that she was threatened with Blood gang members being sent to her house by Cardi. The lawsuit for that is said to have been dismissed, but the case is still open. As of now, the November 8 trial date requested by Cardi has yet to officially be confirmed.
Cardi is also on fire in regards to music, as she appeared on Normani’s new “Wild Side” single a few weeks ago. It went on to debut at number 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
