Cardi B continues to be one of the biggest artists in the world. She shines after every music release along with in the endorsements she’s received such as with adidas and Pepsi. Now, the “Up” rapper is diving into more business ventures, this time, with makeup.
According to TMZ, Cardi’s company, Washpoppin Inc, filed documents to secure the rights to the phrase “Bardi Beauty.” This move would place the Bardi Beauty name on products such as cosmetics, fragrances, haircare, skincare, nail polish, along with nail enamel. The documents were originally filed almost a week ago on April 16. Cardi listed her full name (Belcalis Almánzar) as the CEO of the brand.
With Bardi Beauty being attached to someone like Cardi, the beauty products would definitely be expected to soar in terms of sales. This comes after a very hot start for Cardi’s music in 2021 as she released her “Up” single in February. A month later, it hit the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
