Seeing how Cardi B has risen to become one of the top names in music, she should be receiving much more love. Instead, petty fans continue trying to play up a feud between her and Nicki Minaj. Because it is rap, they should be competitive, but no need for beef.
Nicki Minaj has enjoyed sole domination on the female rap game for close to a decade. Aside from Iggy Azalea, in 2014, no other female rappers have had success. Someone like Cardi B emerging was bound to happen and she has a hot song out.
Cardi B and Nicki Minaj even have a collaboration under their belt, in the form of “Motorsport,” from Migos. While there are hints from Cardi B that Nicki may have changed her verse, so what? When Cardi B was promoting the video, some “Barbz” attacked her, saying Nic’s verse was better, and when she replied, they accused her of being obsessed, and only responding to negative comments.
