Cardi B Gets to 105 Million Followers on Instagram, and Becomes Second Most Followed Rapper in IG History

Cardi B continues to be one of the most popular artists in the world, as this has been the case since summer 2017. She’s continued her momentum into 2021 as well, as she scored another number one hit, with “Up.”

Cardi is a dominant force on social media as well, as she has millions of followers on her platforms. Today on Instagram, she crossed the 105 million mark. With this milestone, Cardi is now the second most followed rapper on the app, right behind Nicki Minaj, per @GirlsInRap.

Instagram is easily Cardi’s most popular app that followers engage with her on, as on Twitter, she has 18.7 million. Nonetheless, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper engages with fans on a daily basis on both apps, but IG continues to reign supreme.

Cardi has also been trending over the last week, after gifting her three-year-old daughter, Kulture, a yellow Hermes Birkin bag. This came with a rainbow crystal design, inspired by a bag that Kulture initially wanted from Claire’s.

Cardi’s second studio album is also expected to be released at some point this year. She has yet to publicly reveal the title, though. Earlier this year, Cardi revealed at the time to Jimmy Fallon that she only had a few more songs and videos to work on, before the album’s release.
