Cardi B Earns Fifth Number 1 Single on Billboard Hot 100 Chart With “Up” and Still Has The Most Number 1 Hits By a Female Rapper

Cardi B has been making a lot of noise with her “Up” single that dropped in February as at the time, it debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It’s been consistently in the top five since then and also reached gold status by the RIAA in the US.

Now, “Up” has officially climbed to No. 1 in the US on the Hot 100 chart, according to Chart Data. This now sets several records for the Bronx native. This gives her her fifth No. 1 single and also extends her record as the female rapper with the most No. 1 hits in history.

Cardi also becomes the first female rapper in history to earn multiple No. 1 singles on the Hot 100. This includes “Bodak Yellow” from 2017 and now, “Up.” All of Cardi’s No. 1 hits on the Hot 100 in history are Up, “WAP” feat. Megan Thee Stallion, Maroon 5’s “Girls Like You” which included her, “I Like It” feat. J Balvin and Bad Bunny, and “Bodak Yellow.

Cardi has since taken to social media to express how grateful she is for this latest accomplishment. She gave it all to God for this blessing as well.
