Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s “WAP” Collab Reclaims Top Spot on Billboard Hot 100 Chart Over BTS’ “Dynamite”

For the last two weeks, BTS has had the No. 1 song in the country with their “Dynamite” single. This is after Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s mega hit single, “WAP” was on top. Dynamite continues to do very well but now, WAP has regained its No. 1  position again,

According to Chart Data, WAP jumped over Dynamite today as it has reached a third total week at No. 1. This collab from Cardi and Megan has been one of the most highly discussed records in the industry since it released in early August. It is know for its highly sexual content as well as its impressive music video which included cameos from Kylie Jenner, Mulatto, and Normani.

WAP has since been certified 2x platinum as well. This is after selling 2 million units in total. The record has received criticism from conservatives such as Candace Owens but nonetheless, fans are streaming WAP heavily as it is the No. 1 song in the US again. The wait is also on for Cardi to release her sophomore album.
