It’s been three years since Cali Swag District released “Teach Me How to Dougie,” which was one of the biggest hits of the year. Credit is rarely given for it, but Cali Swag District led the West Coast hip hop scene back to the forefront. Many other LA-area artists have had mainstream success and Cali Swag has continued holding it down.
In January, Cali Swag District announced they were working on their sophomore album, We All We Got. The first single off this album is “Shake Somethin,'” featuring fellow Los Angeles rapper, Problem, and Tiffany Foxx. Lil’ Kim is backing Tiffany Foxx for those who do not know.
Last month, it was a pleasure to sit down with Cali Swag District for Hip Hop Vibe, as they are really good friends. In the interview, they said they couldn’t wait to shoot the video and be on set with Tiffany Foxx. A few days later, the photos hit Instagram and it looked like it was fun being on set with Tiffany Foxx for the video shoot.
