To such teams as the San Antonio Spurs or the Golden State Warriors, a 6-1 start to the season doesn’t mean much. But, NBA fans of Charlotte have suffered more than the average basketball fan. From losing the team, to the Bobcats, to the Hornets’ first season back, it’s tough.
The Charlotte Hornets quickly rebounded from that one, bad, season to return to the playoffs. Given Charlotte’s inconsistent NBA history, however, sports pundits are hesitant on giving them props. Even when they have the NBA’s best record over seven games.
Tonight was what critics said was the Charlotte Hornets’ first true test of the season, the Toronto Raptors. Despite Kemba Walker’s season, they say the Hornets don’t have a star, franchise, player. But, after coming back on the Raptors, Twitter is going crazy for the Hornets and want Kemba Walker for MVP.
