Buddy Hield Steals JaVale McGee’s Life And Ankles With A Nasty Crossover, Sending PSA To NBA That He’s Definitely That Guy #SacramentoProud #Lakeshow

Buddy Hield got picked up by the Sacramento Kings back in the 2017 draft as the number 6 overall pick. Since his arrival into the NBA, he’s been one of bright spots for the fledgling Kings organization.

Right before the season started, Buddy and Kings weren’t seeing eye to eye regarding his future with the team. Hield felt insulted that the Kings weren’t showing any commitment to him as their franchise player for the future. The contract offer they were teasing him with didn’t really make him nor his consistent play through his first three years feel appreciated.

After voicing his frustrations publicly, the Kings and Hield finally came to an agreement. This resulted in a four year contract extension worth $86 million. Buddy stated that the move just felt right in his gut. And now games like tonight against the Lakers are proving that the Kings are spending their money in the right places. Even though the Kings narrowly lost to the Lakers, Buddy still put up a great effort. One of the highlights of the game was Buddy Hield robbing Lakers’ center, JaVale McGee, of his ankle in the third quarter.
