Long before Giannis was even a thought, Brandon Jennings was the future of the Milwaukee Bucks. Drafted in 2009, Jennings had a knack for scoring. Early comparisons had him compared to Allen Iverson, as a little man who could score the ball.
Brandon Jennings played for the Bucks, from 2009-2013, only making the playoffs twice. In 2010, Jennings’ Bucks would lose to the Atlanta Hawks in a tough seven game first round series. Three years later, the Bucks were swept by the 66-16 Miami Heat, who won 27 straight games.
In 2018, Brandon Jennings briefly returned to the Bucks, as a role player, but would be waived, during the season. A year later, Giannis’ career took off, as he won MVP, leading the Bucks to the NBA’s best record. Now, the Bucks are champions and it’s only right Jennings is there, for the turn up, and his partying has him trending on Twitter.
