Brandon Cooper, Who Was Shot In The Behind By Pooh Shiesty, in Miami, is Indicted With Seven Others, For Bank Fraud Case

Earlier this week, it was revealed that Pooh Shiesty is planning to plead guilty to charges, stemming from an October 2020 shooting, in Miami. This involved Shiesty shooting a man, after a deal gone wrong, for a pair of Air Jordan sneakers, and marijuana. The Memphis rapper initially entered a not guilty plea, until this point.

The man that Shiesty shot in the butt, was Brandon Cooper. Now, it turns out that Cooper has some serious legal issues of his own. According to the Miami Herald, he was indicted this past week, in a bank fraud case. Other individuals hit with this indictment included John Anthony Perez, Rene Ripes III, Carlo Luvara Escobar, Clifton Taylor, Edwin Castillo, and Christopher Salermo.

The full list of charges for Cooper and others include bank fraud conspiracy, money laundering, and identity theft. Homeland Security claimed that these suspects had been forging and depositing checks, and also cashing them in quickly, to avoid being caught by law enforcement. This was confirmed by Assistant U.S. Attorney Kurt Lunkenheimer.

As for Shiesty, he could face life in prison, if convicted. Shiesty also has another separate case in Miami, where he accidentally shot a security guard, during Memorial Day weekend. That went down, after Shiesty noticed that $40,000 was gone, from his pocket.
