Bobby Shmurda Receives “Welcome Home” Billboard at Madison Square Garden From New York Knicks

Yesterday, Bobby Shmurda was finally released from prison after almost seven years. He went home in style as Quavo and his crew picked him up in a private jet. Shmurda soon linked up with his  close friend, Rowdy Rebel, who was also released from prison in December after six years.

The Brooklyn rapper has also been getting a lot of love in New York City since his release. Even the New York Knicks are publicly giving him a nice welcome.

The Knicks placed a huge “Welcome home Bobby Shmurda” billboard on Madison Square Garden, their home arena. It was placed over the Pennsylvania Station entrance.

Bobby has since been spending time with family members and will also be recording new music after years or waiting by fans. Hopefully, a “First Day Out” record can at least be put out in the meantime.
