Bobby Shmurda was expected to have his parole hearing in early August but that got pushed back for some reason. The hearing took place last week and the Brooklyn rapper received some bad news.

According to TMZ, Shmurda was denied a shot at parole as he will likely remain in prison until his sentence is fully completed in December of 2021. Many expected that he would come home in December of this year. It appears that multiple factors in prison may have played a role in the denial. Among them are 11 violations which include drug possession, fights and getting a knife snuck in.

Four years ago, Shmurdq reached a plea deal of conspiracy to possess weapons and possession of a weapon. The charge dropped was conspiracy to commit murder. He was originally arrested back in December 2014 along with close friend, Rowdy Rebels and other members of their GS9 group. That year, he broke out as a star with his hit single, “Hot N*gga.”
