Cash Money West rapper Blueface was one of 2018’s biggest stars as he had a breakout single in “Thotiana.” The record then earned a remix with Cardi B and YG earlier this year. “Bleed It” created a hot buzz for him as well. Blueface soon followed up the success of Thotiana with his “Dirt Bag” EP this summer which had the singles “Daddy” featuring Rich The Kid and “Bussin” feat. Lil Pump.
Thotiana continues to receive a lot of radio play and spins in the club and it’s all paying off as it has officially gone platinum. Blueface posted a video to Instagram with the platinum plaque in sight along with him strangely pulling his pants down and dancing in celebration. We can all understand his excitement but this was definitely a questionable way.
It’ll be interesting to see if Blueface can duplicate the success of Thotiana with another single. Daddy and Bussin have been doing well but haven’t compared to Thotiana.
