For the past couple of years, surely fans have seen BJ The Chicago Kid’s name pop up on all the leading urban music websites. But, this year, they were treated to hearing him on the radio and seeing him on television, when he appeared on ScHoolboy Q’s “Studio.” The song was one of the biggest records of the summer.
However, BJ The Chicago Kid has a thriving solo career and he is signed to Ne-Yo’s Motown Records. Currently, BJ The Chicago Kid is working on an album that is yet to have a title or release date. He continues to release new music, in the meantime, to get the fans ready for his next release.
BJ The Chicago Kid recently stopped by Hot 97 and talked with Peter Rosenberg during his show, “Real Late.” The interview consisted of BJ The Chicago Kid discussing his appearance on ScHoolboy Q’s “Studio” and his success. He also spoke on his own new music, which is coming up soon.
