Big Tigger Announces That “Rap City” is Making Its Return

Back in the late 80s, 90s, and early 2000s, “Rap City” wad dominant, on BET. Atlanta legend, Big Tigger, was the host of this show. Tigger would interview artists, and at the conclusion of the show, the artists would deliver impressive freestyles. These included T.I., Ludacris, Lil Wayne, Dipset, and more. The show initially aired in 1989, and concluded in 2008.

Fans have been waiting for Rap City to possibly make its return, and now, it appears that fans are getting their wish. Big Tigger took to his Instagram feed to reveal, that a “Rap City 2021” will be on its way.

“This is not a drill… This is not a throwback… #RapCity21 ‼️Details soon… 🎙🎙🎙🎙 #RapCityRaisedMe #ATL”

Tigger’s comments immediately got flooded with excitement, as they reminisced on the great era that Rap City was in. As of now, there is no official premiere date, or if the show will be on BET again, but the anticipation is definitely on, now.
