Without Big Daddy Kane, there is no Jay-Z, not as the world knows him presently. Of course, as many people on discussion forums often point out, hip hop went through a drastic change, in the 1992-1993 period. In the case of swag, though, Big Daddy Kane really invented that.
Mister Cee also did his thing as a DJ and earned the right to be called a legend. Due to his personal decisions, Mister Cee has faced a lot of backlash. But, what that man does in his private life does not take away from what he’s done for the culture.
Recently, Big Daddy Kane and Mister Cee visited Funkmaster Flex, over at Hot 97. The two talked about their history in hip hop and shared some gems. During the interview, they spoke on nearly all of the legends in the game.
