Over the past few years, rumors have persisted that Outkast was supposed to reunite and drop a new album. The last time they dropped a project was 2006 during their Idlewild run. Since then, Big Boi and Andre 3000 have blamed their label from blocking them from releasing a project and working together.

Big Boi began his solo career in 2010 and has a deal with Def Jam where he drops his new material. Meanwhile, Andre 3000 made his return to the game in 2011 with a few guest appearances on tracks. Music videos, however, were out of the question and Andre 3000 also wanted Big Boi to stop remaking tracks he was on.

This year, there have been a lot of rumors about Outkast reuniting. After reuniting for tours, they have signed a management deal with Jordan Feldstein’s Career Artist Management, according to XXL. Big Boi is confident in the firm, which represents Robin Thicke and Maroon 5 and they will be performing at Drake’s OVO Fest and London’s Wireless Festival 2014, celebrating their debut album turning twenty.
