Dating back to the later stages of last year, there were rumors of Big Boi and Andre 3000 finally reuniting as Outkast. Earlier last year, Andre 3000 spoke out in frustration of Big Boi remixing songs he is featured on. Some fans were confused, thinking these were official records with Outkast on it.
There have been a lot of rumors surrounding Outkast over the past couple of months. Thus far, there has been no truth to the rumors, aside from both of the artists working on new projects. Currently, Big Boi is working with Wale and Common on a Game of Thrones-inspired mixtape.
While Big Boi will be a part of an upcoming mixtape, he had disappointing news for fans expecting an Outkast reunion. It is indeed true that Big Boi and Andre 3000 have been working with each other again and their tour is a go. However, they are not getting together to bring a new album to the masses, as Big Boi revealed to Sharon Carpenter of Revolt TV in New Orleans for the 2014 NBA All-Star Game.
