Bia has been one of the biggest breakout stars of 2021, after her single, “Whole Lotta Money,” took off in the spring. In July, she dropped the remix, as featured a legend in Nicki Minaj. Nicki had hyped the promotion for this collab heavily, as she said beforehand that she had “urgent news” to share.
The “urgent news” ended up her being on the Whole Lotta Money remix, and it’s been a huge fan-favorite since its release. One of the most popular lyrics from Bia here is “Fendi on my body, but my feet is in Bottega.”
Now, Bia has revealed on Twitter that this lyric has become so popular, that the heels at a Bottega Veneta store that she went to actually sold out. Artists’ brand shout outs are definitely influential, as many remember the 2015 demand for Gucci flip flops after Future’s lyrics in “Thought It Was A Drought.”
