The closest thing hip hop has to royalty is Beyonce, Jay Z, and their baby, Blue. With each passing year, the couple has become more elusive. However, they do make their returns via TIDAL and shocked the world with their BET Awards performance.
Beyonce dropped Lemonade, her first album in three years, via an HBO special, back in May. Since then, she has been promoting the work on her “Formation” tour, opened by DJ Khaled. Last week, Beyonce was confirmed to be performing at the VMAs.
Despite media outlets confirming this, the evasiveness of Beyonce, in the past, has some convinced she may not show. But, major proof came earlier this afternoon when her entourage showed up. Spotted walking the red carpet during the VMA rehearsals was none other than Julius, Beyonce’s bodyguard.
