Beyoncé gets accused of fraud for filing Blue Ivy Carter trademark, with no intentions of using it, by Veronica Morales, a wedding planner, whose company is named Blue Ivy; Morales says Blue Ivy spelled backwards is “Lucifer’s daughter” in Latin, accusing Queen Bey of being Illuminati

Ironically, it was Jay-Z’s former rival, Nas, a current friend, who once said “when you’re on top, there’s envy.” This is something Jay-Z and his wife, Beyonce, have dealt with from day one. Not only did they always top the charts, they also held their own in the board rooms, too.

Beyonce, in particular, has spent the duration of her career being one of the top five artists in all of music. Even when she didn’t have music out, her tours were out-grossing nearly everybody else’s. However, this unprecedented run has not been without challenges.

Veronica Morales is a wedding planner, the head of her Blue Ivy company, which she trademarked in 2012. In 2017, Jay-Z and Beyonce trademarked Blue Ivy Carter, the name of their first-born. Though they never intended to use it, they did so to prevent others from profiting from their daughter’s name.

In particular, Beyonce spoke out, saying her daughter was a “cultural icon,” something Morales disagrees heavily with. She, instead, is accusing Beyonce of fraud, since they never intended to use the trademark, causing conflict with her company’s name. Going further, she said people believe Beyonce is involved with the Illuminati, citing that Blue Ivy spelled backwards is Eulb Yvi, which is “Lucifer’s daughter” in Latin.
