Benny The Butcher and Conway are two of the most underrated lyricists in the game. They’ve helped put Griselda Records in the spotlight as well as the city of Buffalo, NY. Both released albums this fall as well as Conway put out ‘From King To a God‘ in September and Benny had ‘Burden Of Proof‘ in October.
The Griselda rappers are now getting together to perform at a virtual concert that will go down on December 18. This will be live streamed on TIDAL. It will kick off at 8pm ET. In addition to Conway and Benny at the show, don’t be surprised to see other rappers from the label make appearances at the show such as Westside Gunn, Boldy James, and Armani Caesar.
Conway and Benny also did solid on the charts this fall in regards to their album releases. From King To a God peaked at No. 125 on the Billboard 200 chart and No. 25 on the Billboard Independent Albums chart. Burden Of Proof peaked at No. 27 on the Billboard 200.
Last month, Benny was also shot in the leg in Houston, TX at a local Walmart. This is after a group of men demanded that he and his crew give up their jewelry. This didn’t happen and then the shooting happened. Benny has since been recovering in a wheelchair.
